Ok.  Consider me a convert.  Or at least a Vader convert.  I was never a big death metal guy. The genre just seemed to too abrasive for my tastes especially with the vocals and many times with the music as well.  When I first listened to Vader….which was with their last album Tibi Et Igni, I was left a little mixed but it had songs that I enjoyed a lot like their single ‘Triumph of Death’ but other songs on the album seemed a bit to erratic.

Now we have a new offering, ‘The Empire’.  Which in my opinion is a more lean and mean killing machine.  And for me, that makes the album as a whole more accessible to listeners like me who are relatively new to Vader or Death metal in general. Continue reading Music Review: VADER CD: The Empire

Ok…full disclosure here on this one.  I have never been a big listener of Vader…in fact I have never really listened to them at all.  I think many years ago I tried and what I heard was just not for me.  It just seemed the only thing Vader oriented I was going to like was going to be Darth Vader.

Well we have a new Vader album up for release titled ‘Tibi Et Ingi’ and as fate would have it I happened to come across the song ‘Triumph of Death’ they have been floating around to build up hype for the album and for some reason I decided to click play.  When hearing the song I was really blown away and thought, ‘WOW!  What have I been missing!  I have to check this album and band out!  Luckily I have access to the promo and I immediately downloaded my digital copy and gave it a spin…and was somewhat…let down. VADER To Hit The Studio In November; New Song Titles Revealed

VADER mainman Piotr “Peter” Wiwczarek has issued the following update:

“We are about to finish second part of Back To The Black tour in Europe. Here are a bunch of “Frontline news”. We started this time in North of Europe in Germany and Denmark. On day three we were joined by Friends from MELECHESH, W.I.L.D and STERBHAUS. Then after great show in Aarhus and probably best on tour concert in Nancy in France, we continued through Munich, Zagreb and Budapest to the South. What great shows in Romania and Bulgaria we had!!! Next stops were Serbia, Italy, Switzerland and Annaberg with great performance as well!!! After show in Ostrava (Czech Rep) we parted ways with our Dudes from supporting bands to continue alone with the final shows on tour. We’d like to remind you all about Extreme Fest in Hunxe (Germany), where we’ll show up on May 25th sharing the stage with Friends from DECAPITATED, BEHEMOTH and many more bands. Also we plan at the end of August a special show in city of Olsztyn (Poland), where the band was formed. It will be a special show for the band’s XXX anniversary on stage and XX anniversary of the debut album release. On this very special evening we’ll play songs from early days plus the whole The Ultimat Incantation live! In the meantime the next Vader album is being created. We already booked studio for November/December 2013. A few upcoming titles? Why not!!! ‘Abandon All Hope’, ‘Bring Them To Me’ or ‘Infernal Poetry’. See you soon … in hell.”
