DIRKSCHNEIDER – BACK TO THE ROOTS TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED FOR US AND CANADA

Dirkschneider, the band fronted by U.D.O./ex-Accept leader Udo Dirkschneider, have announced North American tour dates for early 2017. They will continue touring until the end of 2016, hitting Israel and Japan, doing a lot of summer festivals and then touring US, Russia and Europe in fall and winter. 2016.

Amaranthe At Henry’s Pub-Kuopio, Finland

   

 

Living in Kuopio the past year I have noticed the more well known metal acts tend to skip the town in favor of other Finnish cities, unless they are playing the Kuopio Rock Cock Festival or they are a band from here.  I think in part the reason bands pass us by is that Kuopio doesn’t host a venue to hold say 500-800 people but rather a small club such as Henry’s who can hold maybe 150-200 or the moderate sized venue KuopioHall that can hold 2000-3000.  So it makes it tough for some bands that can draw a decent crowd to come here. Video: STEVEN ADLER Joins DUFF MCKAGAN’S LOADED To Perform GUNS N’ ROSES Classics

DUFF MCKAGAN’S LOADED, the band led by VELVET REVOLVER/ex-GUNS N’ ROSES bassist Duff McKagan, and ADLER, which features in its ranks GUNS N’ ROSES drummer Steven Adler, joined forces for two shows in Japan on March 7-8 at Duo Music Exchange in Shibuya.

DUFF MCKAGAN’S LOADED‘s latest album, “The Taking”, was released in April 2011 via Eagle Rock Entertainment. The CD landed at position No. 12 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

ADLER‘s debut album, “Back From The Dead”, was released in North America on November 26 via New Ocean Media. The CD was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Jeff Pilson (FOREIGNER, DOKKEN) and was mixed by Jay Ruston (ANTHRAX, STONE SOUR).

ADLER is comprised of Adler, Bunton, guitarist Lonny Paul (ADLER’S APPETITE), and bassist Johnny Martin (CHELSEA SMILES).
