KISS To Headline Arenabowl XXVI Weekend in Orlando

Legendary rock band KISS will perform during ArenaBowl XXVI weekend this August 16th in Orlando, Florida, as this unprecedented partnership with The Arena Football League and CBS Sports was proudly announced on Tuesday.

ArenaBowl XXVI is set to be played at the Amway Center in Orlando on Saturday, August 17. The game will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network at 1 PM as part of the three-day weekend celebration.

KISSonline.com have posted a few photos of KISS filming promo TV clips for the Arena Football League. The session took place at Etihad Satdium in Melbourne, Australia during the band’s two night stand at the venue.

On March 4, KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley was interviewed on “The Project” (previously “The 7PM Project”), the Australian talk show television program airing weeknights across Australia on Network Ten. You can now watch video footage of his appearance below.

KISS is currently taking part in an Australian tour with very special guests MÖTLEY CRÜE.

Presented by McManus Entertainment, the summer’s biggest, baddest rock tour is hitting Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Mackay and Adelaide, with guests Irish rockers THIN LIZZY along for the ride (except Adelaide).

“Monster”, the 20th studio album from KISS, sold 56,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 3 on The Billboard 200 chart.

KISS‘ previous CD, “Sonic Boom”, opened with 108,000 units back in October 2009 to enter the chart at No. 2. This marked the band’s highest-charting LP ever.

KISS has notched nine Top 10 albums, according to Billboard.com. Its previous highest-charting set was 1998’s “Psycho Circus”, which debuted and peaked at No. 3 with 110,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The group’s other high-charting sets include 1975’s “Alive!” (No. 9), 1977’s “Love Gun” (No. 4) and 1992’s “Revenge” (No. 6).
