Shiraz Lane touring in Europe with Brother Firetribe this Fall!

New Shiraz Lane material coming up already later this year

Finnish young rock dynamite Shiraz Lane will return to European venues in October and November 2017, supporting their great fellow countrymen Brother Firetribe, who are celebrating their 15th anniversary this year!
Shiraz Lane´s been working on their 2nd album in Stockholm for the whole year with a Swedish songwriter/ producer Per Aldeheim (Def Leppard, Pain, Fatboy, Soilwork…). The album will be out in early 2018, and the guys are super happy about both with their results in the studio and these upcoming Fall live dates:
“We are extremely excited to join forces and support Brother Firetribe through Europe during the upcoming Autumn of 2017. It will be a pleasure to revisit some of the awesome venues and embrace the atmosphere we were so warmly welcomed on our last tour, and are thrilled to bring our caravan to new destinations for your eyes and ears to witness. You might even have an exclusive chance to hear some new material we have been working so hard on throughout the year. Perhaps we might even release a single before the leaves fall from the trees? Time will tell..!”
Shiraz Lane will continue the album´s vocal recordings in Gröndahl Studios in this month and will play live this Summer still in Üferrock (DE), Summer Breeze (DE) and Hair Metal Heaven (UK), before focusing on the European tour, beginning on the 11th of October. Bands: Shiraz Lane, Lost Society and Santa Cruz

Tuska.  The Finnish word for PAIN.  Tuska…THE biggest Finnish festival for metal acts from around the globe whose only mission is to bring to the metal masses pure heavy metal over three days.  Rain or Shine.  However, metal never sleeps and before the Tuska beast awoke, the day before the festival some of Finland’s most prominent up and coming bands took the stage at the Tavastia Club in the center of Helsinki.  Shiraz Lane, Lost Society and Santa Cruz took the stage to whip the crowd into a frenzy and help set the stage for a glorious weekend of heavy metal.

Shiraz Lanen depyyttilevy ”For Crying Out Loud” ilmestyi maailmanlaajuisesti tämän vuoden huhtikuussa italialaisen Frontiers Music -yhtiön kautta.

Continue reading Interview: Shiraz Lane (By Anneli Keski-Petäjä, in Finnish)

Welcome to South Park 2016. It’s a middle sized open air festival in Tampere. This festival was built upon the ruins of Sauna Open Air Metal Festival which was between 2004 and 2013. South Park has now been organized for the third time, and there has been a good amount of big heavy metal acts like Def Leppard, Helloween, Accept, and this year the main acts were Slayer, Bullet For My Valentine, Soilwork and Powerwolf. Also current heavy and rock acts from Finland were the big part of this year’s line up. The name South Park means ”eteläpuisto” in Finnish, and it fits well because the place where the festival takes it’s place is called Eteläpuisto. It’s a little park very near to the lake. But even if the framework is very good, and line-up looks very good also, it doesn’t guarantee the nice and warmly festival experience: We are now in Finland where the weather conditions even in summer are a little tricky. On arrival in Tampere the weather looked just fine and warm, and when Slayer finished their headlining show in the evening on the first day it was freaking cold. But, anyway, welcome aboard!
