Shadow of the Demon Lord Kickstarter has LAUNCHED!

It is with great pleasure that I announce that the ‘Shadow of the Demon Lord’ Kickstarter drive has launched!  Created by game designer Robert J. Shchwalb who helped design 5th Edition  Dungeons and Dragons among a slew of other table top games,

‘Shadow of the Demon Lord’ is a horror/fantasy RPG that takes place in a world standing on the brink of the apocalypse. What is the cause? Who is responsible? The Demon Lord, of course! This being of staggering power and boundless evil authors the catastrophes blighting the landscape. Each new horror released reflects the Demon Lord’s approach, the touch of its shadow, and its growing hunger for not only the planet but the entirety of all things. Although near, the Demon Lord remains outside the cosmos, rattling the cage of its prison as it strains to escape the Void to visit catastrophic destruction to your world.

Wasteland 2 Early Gameplay footage now released for viewing

I know this isn’t a board game but still I like to play video games on occassion too and I feel this warrants a mention on the site.

For all the old school PC gamers out there you probably already know that Wasteland 2 via Kickstarter has been in production for sometime now.  InExile has just released some game play footage that showcases some early combat and mechanics and also some artwork and voice acting that really helps set the tone for the game.

I have to admit.  This looks really, really promising.  If you are a fan of turn based isometric type games with an updated feel check out the video and leave a comment on what you think about it.
