Lions of the South, a Heavy Metal band from Florida, described as “a heavy yet classic sound with plenty of fury and technical playing on offer.” I would say that with this debut the band has lived up to the description. The album is full of fast, technical playing. The guys definitely have talent. They also have a classic metal sound, and their cited influences show through in their sound. It seems like singer Csaba Zvekan stays a busy man…just a year ago he was fronting a power/neo-classical metal band Raven Lord, now he has grabbed some of the same musicians and now fronts a Doom metal band by the name Exorcism.  Next I expect to see him front a country music/folk metal band called the Hayseeds.  Csaba is truly a man of many talents and ideas. Taberah Cover Artwork and Tracklist Revelaed

Australian heavy metallers TABERAH have set “Necromancer” as the title of their second album, due out in August via Dust On The Tracks Records. The CD was engineered by Theo B (Scorpion), produced and mixed by Joe Haley (Psycroptic) and mastered by Australian Metal Icon “Stu Marshall” (Death Dealer, Empires Of Eden, Dungeon, Paindivision). The artwork was made by Hannah Flowers, who is a talented Tasmanian tattoo artist.
