                 I will probably catch a lot of hell for this one.  But I tried.  I really did try.  I listened to this album numerous times and for me, ‘White Devil Armory’ just does not deliver in a way I wished it would.  I say this amongst a lot of positive reviews and fans reception to this album so I know I am most likely in the minority here.  However, as much as I wanted to like Overkill’s new album I found it was lacking in several key areas.  Read on and I will try to explain. First we had the 80’s movie Monster Squad and now we have the thrash metal band Mutant Squad.  However, I don’t think with the latter we will see the band kicking a werewolf between the legs and proclaimin, ‘Wolfman’s got NARDS!’ however they my kick you in your teeth and say, ‘Listen to out thrash record Titanomakha bitches!!!!!!’ . Honestly, this wouldn’t be such a bad thing other than losing some teeth, as the album is not too bad.  So let’s rip into this mother and see if Mutant Squad has some NARDS with their debut album ‘Titanomakha’! OVERKILL – start tracking new album today!

Legendary American thrashers OVERKILL have announced to enter the studio today, Monday, September 2, 2013 to begin tracking their next studio album due out sometime next year. The new material will be tracked at Gear Recording and mixed by Greg Reely, who also mixed the band’s previous effort »The Electric Age«.

OVERKILL will also be appearing on „The Battle Of San Bernardino“ in San Bernardino, CA on September 13, supporting IRON MAIDEN, MEGADETH, TESTAMENT, ANTHRAX and SABATON, before hitting North American roads in December with german thrash titans KREATOR or an extensive co-headlining run.

WARBRINGER Release First Studio Update Of New Album

Los Angeles thrashers WARBRINGER have entered the studio to begin recording the follow-up to their third album, Worlds Torn Asunder. The band will once again be working with producer Steve Evetts (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, SEPULTURA, SYMPHONY X) on this currently untitled new full-length at his studio, The Omen Room, in Garden Grove, California.
