SHADOWDREAM announce a new album called ”Jazz Soundtracks For Embalming”, out on 10 04 2020 via Epictronic/The Orchard.
SHADOWDREAM stated: About six years ago when I met Carlo Bellotti and signed to his label, I could not imagine that the possibility of working what you enjoy with people whom you respect is possible, but that certainly was and is in this case. During the production for this album, it was not just the anxiety with creation of music, playing and recording, but with the investigation of many crimes and murders in order to get the best musical atmosphere to describe them. During the recording in 2017 and 2018 I have managed to talk with people who were and are committed to mental institution, some with criminal past, others who were abused, and that brought a lot of much needed raw emotion to the album. Therefore, this album is a fictional story inspired by real-life events and experiences. And, besides this, without Carlo’s support and amazing production by Dimitrije Mladenovic, this magnum opus would not be possible. “Jazz Soundtracks for the Embalming” is an album I am very proud of in many aspects, but mainly because I truly feel that it is “Film without a picture”. And because it is part of Epictronic catalogue.

Spanish female fronted metal act RAINOVER announces the release of the new album “Nox“, due to be released on April 17th digitally, and May 8th physically through Wormholedeath records.
After their critically acclaimed first album, “Transcending the Blue and Drifting Into Rebirth” (Wormholedeath Records, 2013/2014), RAINOVER took their time to write a worthy follow-up and the process led them to venture into darker sounds while still keeping their trademark melodies and atmospheres, resulting into a visibly more mature, obscure and complex piece of work.
As previously announced by the band, the first single, named “Lumina Omnia”, counts with the guest vocals of Anders Jacobsson, singer of Swedish doom metal masters DRACONIAN and will belaunched within a couple of weeks as a first taster for the record.

SARPEDON released the debut lyric video for the song ”Creeping Chaos” taken from the upcoming new album ‘Before The Nightingale Sings”.
On the lyric video, drummer Carl Engstrøm stated: “We’re happy to release the first lyric video for the song “Creeping Chaos”. This is one of the best tracks we decided to go on for a lyric video”.
Keyboard player Daniel Hemstad also stated: “We are finally releasing our first music video and single from the upcoming album “Before The Nightingale Sings”. This is one of my favorite tracks from the album and one of the songs I could express myself most creative with. It got 70’s-inspired Mellotron and Moog, and horror-inspired strings and choirs combined with heavy guitars, groovy bass and hard-hitting drums in true Sarpedon-style.
Progressive metal act SARPEDON announces the release of their second new album “Before The Nightingale Sings”, a follow up of the 2014 debut “Anomic Nation”.
Drummer Carl Engstrøm stated: “We’re very happy to announce the release of our second album “Before The Nightingale Sings”. It has been a long and difficult process to get this album finished but finally the day has come for its release and we could not be happier and proud about the result”.
Vocalist Göran Nyström stated: “In May 2016 I was contacted by Torgeir (ex guitar player) regarding vocals on the new Sarpedon album. I listened to their previous album and made a rough demo of the song “Anomic Nation”. It worked for both me and the band and in November 2016 I flew to Oslo to record vocals for the new album. The studio was located a couple of miles outside of Oslo and it had some pretty good gear. It was three hectic days in the studio with frozen pizza and singing. It’s the heaviest album I’ve ever recorded and I can’t wait for you to listen to it!”
The album was recorded at Toproom and Hemstad studios, mixed by Børge Finstadand Matias Aaveren at Toproom studios and mastered by Kjetil Ottersen at Vektor Facilities studios. The album cover was done by the French designer Paul “Paulusk” Gonzalvez.
