Movie Review: Cockneys vs. Zombies

               By: TJ Fowler

If you’re like me you have always wondered what it would be like to see wanna be bank robbers from East End London take on zombies raised from a construction site then look no further!  Also, as I bonus I also got to witness who would win in a foot race between a geriatric with a walker and a slow moving zombie. It’s a much closer contest than what you would think.  Much like the Super Bowls the New England Patriots won during their Spygate era…as in I’m not so sure the end results I witnessed are accurate, as opposed to other zombie movies and their accuracy to real life zombie events.  Anyway, I ramble…read on! Movie Review: Madison County

Well the first thing I have to say is kind of a personal pet peeve I have with horror movies that take place out in the countryside or wilderness.  I notice in most horror movies where our main protagonists are placed in a very rural setting they also tend to act as if the residents of such places are ignorant hicks with no education and nosey.  Madison County also suffers from this a bit when they arrive into the small community of Madison County.

Hey film makers, here is a note to take.  Just because people live in non-urban places and don’t have the latest technology doesn’t mean they are dumb or backward.  Many people from these types of communities are very hard working, smart and kind people.  I think it’s time for people who don’t live in such places to do a little research or at least know a bit about people from such backgrounds instead watching Beverley Hillbilly or Green Acres Episodes as a reference guide. GWAR Announces Second Leg of “Fate or Chaos” Tour

Tour Kicks Off April 10th!

After spending months deep inside their arctic fortress working on what will be their next album, your Lords and Masters GWAR have announced their return to the road in North America. The second leg of the “Fate or Chaos” tour is scheduled to kick off April 10th in Tucson, AZ and will run through April 25th in Jacksonville, Florida. Support on the tour will come from Warbeast and Wilson. Tickets go on sale this Friday February 15th.

Briefly putting down the crack pipe, lead throat thing Oderus Urungus spoke about going back on tour:

“As you humans amuse yourself with your mundane holidays, it has been a time of intense activity for GWAR, as we record our 13th studio album– the first one with our new Scumdog brother, Pustulus Maximus!”

The Filth-Lord continued– “We begin this years festivities with the second and final leg of our Fate or Chaos tour, so everybody who missed the first leg can see Cyber-Jesus get his fucking ass handed to him. Then it’s back in the studio to work on all the hulking war machines we shall need on our devastating, brand-spanking new tour, after the album drops at the end of the summer! Can you believe I said drop? How fucking stupid!”

Oderus Urungus and Balsac the Jaws of Death, recently took New York by storm when they were in town filming a segment for the SyFy TV Show “Oddities”.

The guys were once again recruited by MTV’s Next Movie to give their critique of another Steven Spielberg directed, Oscar nominated film. The last time they reviewed a movie for Next Movie they reviewed “War Horse” it was only fitting that “Lincoln” be next. Check out Oderus and Balsac’s review HERE.

Oderus and Balsac recently stole the show .as guests on the “Artie Lange Show”. Check out highlights of their appearance HERE

The summer will also herald the fourth annual GWAR-B-Q, and this year is shaping-up to have the most colossal, bone-crushing line-up yet! But that’s not all from your toxic mutant under-lords. Rumors of boxed sets, GWAR-B-Q sauce, GWAR beer, and long-awaited “comedy” albums abound. Further details about all of these projects would have to wait until “we get our shit together”, said Oderus.

GWAR are now movie critics of the highest caliber…

A year after their takedown of Steven Spielberg‘s “War Horse”, GWAR‘s Oderus Urungus and Balsac The Jaws Of Death are back to take on Oscar favorite “Lincoln” in NextMovie‘s hard-hitting review that makes one ask: why wasn’t there more Mary Todd nudity? Check it out below.

“Lincoln” leads nominees at the 85th Academy Awards, happening February 24, with 12 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor (Daniel Day-Lewis), Best Supporting Actress (Sally Field) and Best Director for Steven Spielberg.
