Hi Lara, how have you been?
Hey Carla, pretty busy lately actually. A lot of things happening personal and band wise. Thank you for asking!

When was AngelSeed formed?
AngelSeed has been alive as a project for several years now, but it wasn’t until 2009, when the current line-up formed, and we became a real band.

You have just one release, a self-titled EP from 2014. Tell me about it.
We were going on tour in 2014, and since we didn’t have an album at that time, we decided to publish 3 songs from the upcoming album as EP, so we’d have some merchandise with us.

When did Bleed Someone Dry was founded?
The present formation of BSD is the same that created ”PostMortem |Veritas”, plays together since three years ago but the band has been active for much longer than that!

This year you have released the third album entitled ”Post Mortem/Veritas”. Tell me about it.
‘Postmortem | Veritas’ is a modern tale, based on a negatively pessimistic reality related to the current social context, analyzed through careful and meticulous observation, that only children are able to do. We tried to immerse ourselves in our daily reality but from the point of view of Aelia, a little girl of any given age of childhood, who asks questions related to adults common behavior , behavior which drives events and their on consequences. Through twelve points we imagined having to provide answers and explaining the ‘small’ issues that decide the unfolding of the regular things and society. At the same time we are honored to have been able to confront and work with great artists like Chris Donaldson, a very special person who provided a huge help in addition to his monstrous professionalism, Luca T. Mai of Zu and Mombu who honored us with his partnership and CJ of Thy Art Is Murder, a really helpful and nice guy who made a dream we had come true.

What can you tell me about the two other albums, ”The World Is Falling In Tradegy” and ”Subjects”?
As for the previous work “Subjects” and “The World is Falling in Tragedy” I can tell you briefly that they are two projects on which the current band worked only in part, 2/4 of us weren’t part of the band then and when they were composed. While twifit presents songs with strong trash influences, ”Subjects” had a crazy and distorted extreme sound. On the contrary in “PostMortem |Veritas” the sound features new musical styles and ideas. We tried not to lose our matrix “math” and incorporate it into a Modern Death, trying to create a dark and violent music scene . Personally, I am very satisfied!

What are the lyrical themes and who mainly writes the lyrics?
As for the songwriting, the instrumental part is composed by Jonny (guitarist) who brings each project in the studio where it is submitted to the band and discussed and changed at times, team work basically. As for the lyrics, I take care of them. Usually I let myself being inspired by my thoughts and what I want to talk about, then I create a theme and try to create a concept upon it in the more original way as possible.

Hi Valentine, how are you?
Hey Carla, same os, just a different day.

When was F@B formed?
I (guitar) met Ivan(vocals) through a school friend and we started F@B. It started when things were simple in our lives, it started with no  reason, no expectations, we just liked to play music. It’s a core of this band. In the year of 2012 we pushed it all into a new phase. We met Max (drums) and Eugen (bass), made demos, played long solo shows and met
Marcello (OverDubRecordings label). We released a debut album only this year (2015). So I don’t know what would be the correct foundation date, pick any: 2000s, 2012 or 2015. Frankly I don’t think about it much.

Hi Bogdan, how are you?
Hello, I am quite good thank you for asking and thanks for the interest and the opportunity to present my band to your readers.

Beside the Gothic metal band Magica, you take part in another band called Lupu’ Cel Rau. When was the band formed?
Well you see Magica as “gothic” because the influences you find in the vocal parts. Besides that, instrumentally speaking Magica is more of a power metal group because that is the music that I like and the style that I have continued with my second group “Lupu’celRau”, band that I put together in January 2012.

Do you have some releases? If yes, tell me about them.
We are exactly on the brink of releasing our first material that will be called “Povesti din padurea de metal” (Stories from the metal forest) and until the album will be on the market you can enjoy a video that we made for one of the songs on this album, a track that is called “Haita” (The pack). You can find it on YouTube if you search for it.

Hello Kirayel, how things are going?
Hi Carla! Really great!

Tell me about you, when did your passion for music start?
I was very young, about 3 years old maybe. My mother saw me dancing to music and sing all the time, so she enrolled me in a children’s choir first and then, at the age of 6, in a piano course. Then the passion has grown little by little untill I understood that it was my way. I’ve always felt music in me, as something natural I was born with.

This year you have released the album ”Diary Of Spaces And Skies”. Tell me about it.
Yes and  I’m really proud of it! It’s a little, intense visual and emotional Diary of my life, of the people I met, of the places I saw and all the things I’m still bringing with me in my heart and in my eyes. The title is taken from my photo album; in my mind the music flows just as you live and feel all the picture of your precious moments. Beyond the intimate and intense music, it has a specialfeature, it has been recorded with double binaural technique, this means that two particular and sophisticated head shaped microphones , called for this reason ‘BIG HEADS’ (Ku100 Neumann) have been used , to record in stereo  (because every ‘head’ has two microphones in the ear). They can catch the sounds from the ambient and environment the way they are, so  you can hear the sounds in the space! It’s a 3D music experience!!! All the things you can hear are just real, nothing is added in post-production, no effects, no voice tuner, just piano and voices with the natural reverb of the ambient. Other artists enjoyed Binaural (Tom Yorke, Pearl Jam, Jolly etc). This is the first Ep recorded with the two heads.

Did you receive good reviews?
Yes, really great reviews!! I’m so glad that my voice , my songs  and all the acoustic experimentation are all together so appreciated.

You had an opening show for Mick Moss of Antimatter, how was it?
Ooh!! So great!! I really enjoyed that show! It was really exciting playing my intimate songs with just piano and voice in front of an audience and it was a great experience meeting and playing with Mick Moss! I really love his voice and style!

Are there more shows confirmed?
Soon there will be news!

Beside your solo project, you are the new vocalist of The Way Of Purity…
Yeah, and I’m really glad ! In The Way of Purity I can express what I think about Nature, Human wickedness, hypochrisy and for me, as a vegan, this is really important!

Do you have a message for the people who enjoy your music?
In my music I always put everything I have, every part of my life, strength and weaknesses, and above all my heart. Appreciating my music means sharing my emotions and my world…it means a lot for me and  I want to thank all those people who did and who will do.

Thank you Kirayel, all the best!
You too Carla! You’re always welcome!
