Ahhh, the mighty Exodus has decided to unleash new album upon us!  Now before I go further, I have to admit I am a moderate Exodus fan.  By that I mean, I know the band, their material and own some of their material but I was never a diehard Exodus fan.  Not because I did not like their music but just because I guess some things never fell that way for me.  However I do like Exodus and think they deliver solid hitting material and I am always happy to see what new stuff the band will bring to the table. The Ultimate Revenge For Disco 1985: Slayer, Venom, Exodus at Studio 54

I have a bootleg DVD of this show and it really shows these bands back in their early days cool interviews too.  Also it’s funny this was the last show at the famous Studio 54…the famous disco hotspot of the 70’s.  Slayer has a killer live version of Hell awaits on here as well.  Enjoy!

First we had the 80’s movie Monster Squad and now we have the thrash metal band Mutant Squad.  However, I don’t think with the latter we will see the band kicking a werewolf between the legs and proclaimin, ‘Wolfman’s got NARDS!’ however they my kick you in your teeth and say, ‘Listen to out thrash record Titanomakha bitches!!!!!!’ . Honestly, this wouldn’t be such a bad thing other than losing some teeth, as the album is not too bad.  So let’s rip into this mother and see if Mutant Squad has some NARDS with their debut album ‘Titanomakha’! EXODUS Pulls Out Of MARYLAND DEATHFEST Due To A ‘Variety Of Personal Issues’

Due to a “variety of personal issues and matters with one of the members,” San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal veterans EXODUS will not perform at Maryland Deathfest XI, set to take place May 23-26 in Baltimore. Replacing them on the bill are Arizona thrashers SACRED REICH.

EXODUS guitarist Gary Holt has spent the last two years filling in for SLAYER founding axeman Jeff Hanneman who in January 2011 contracted necrotizing fasciitis, likely caused by a spider bite, and has been undergoing surgeries, skin grafts and intense rehab since.

EXODUS‘ latest album, “Exhibit B: The Human Condition”, was released in North America on May 18, 2010 via Nuclear Blast Records.

The CD sold around 4,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 114 on The Billboard 200 chart.

EXODUS‘ previous album, “The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A”, opened with 3,600 units back in October 2007.
