VENUE: Indigo at The 02

JAPAN NIGHT – MOVE WITH THE MUSIC OF JAPAN announces its first London shows taking place on 10 & 11 July bringing the best talent from Japan to us here at Indigo at The O2. The two fabulous shows coincide with Hyper Japan, which will be taking place on the same dates in The 02.

JAPAN NIGHT was initially held in 2014 as the last music event at Kokuritsu Kyogijo (National Olympic Stadium in Tokyo), welcoming leading Japanese artists including L’Arc-en-Ciel with the theme “Move with the music of Japan”. The new show will bring us both fresh and established talent with a strong line-up that will culminate in a performance from the fantastic VAMPS truly not a performance to miss.

“We are proud to be chosen as the promoter of the 1st JAPAN NIGHT in London and we will make sure that this will be a memorable concert for all Japanese music fans in London!” said Rob Hallett, CEO of Robomagic.

Ex-Amaranthe growler Andy Solveström Returns With New Band: Camodi

Fans of Amaranthe will know Andy Solveström as one of the three singers of the band who held the duties as the ‘growler’ of the band.  Andy was a integral part of Amaranthe’s first two releases, including the massively successful ‘Nexus’ Album released in 2013.  In 2014 Andy parted ways with Amarnathe to venture into new musical ventures and as a result he has anew band called Camodi.  Check out the info from the press release below about the band’s new EP Dead As Yesterday and then go give the band a listen on Spotify or iTunes! Music Review Amaranthe CD: Massive Addictive

By: Callum (CJ) Lavender

Label: Spinefarm Records

Available: 21st October 2014

Official Website: http://www.amaranthe.se/

Opening note: Amaranthe endorses no one at skull banger media in any way. Fowler has done interviews with the band and he played one of their songs by them on his old radio show for vbnav. When I heard that they were playing in my town (Nottingham UK) earlier this year that one song I knew (the nexus) was more than enough to make me want to pay and go and I’m glad I did. Nope, no one is bios towards Amaranthe it’s just nice to have a well-defined modern metal band during this difficult time for music. Continue reading Music Review Amaranthe CD: Massive Addictive

Andy steps down as screamer in AMARANTHE, replacement Henrik Englund announced!

After long and careful consideration Andy has chosen to step down as the growl vocalist in Amaranthe. His reasons are personal and best expressed in his own statement further down. However, the split is completely amicable and friendly, and not the result of any hard feelings. Andy has been a brother through the last two and a half years of craziness since the release of our debut album, and he will always be a central part to the Amaranthe family – not to mention a fantastic screamer indeed. We wish him all the best possible luck with his future endeavors.

But, as they say, life goes on! We in Amaranthe are not planning to slow down one bit, and now is the time to welcome a new member into the Amaranthe family! Many of you have already seen and met Henrik Englund Wilhelmsson (SCARPOINT), who was filling in for Andy on our latest European and American tour! Henrik has great stage presence, tons of charisma and a great voice, and has already proven up to the extremely high standard we always strive for with Amaranthe.
Very awesome and exciting news are just around corner, so stay tuned! And we hope to see YOU in or close to your city in 2014!
