Russian Heavy/Gothic metal band The Suicider released their new album “Never Alive”. The album was recorded at “Day Records Studio” in Moscow by Evgeniy Vinogradov, who also did the Master/Mixing of the album.
The Suicider band was formed by Mikhail Tatarinov at the beginning of 2005 in the Korolyov city that is located in the Moscow region. In 2010 the band released their debut album “Death Surrounds” and in 2011 came out the EP “Four reasons to die”.

When the old meets new and ushers in a new era. This is what the Sabaton/ACCEPT show at its core is. ACCEPT is a well-established band in the metal genre with a dedicated fan base that are always eager to see them and Sabaton is a band on the rise, looking to make the next big step in their career. In this case, that step is becoming a headliner in European arenas. That is right, not headliners for a day of a festival but arenas, for their own tours. With ACCEPT coming along as Special Guests was a genius move for both bands. For ACCEPT, it opens them up to younger fans who came for Sabaton and for Sabaton it brings in an established fan base from ACCEPT to add to their already large and growing fan base as well and help fill the arena.

Rarely is there a film outside the bombastic Hollywood Action /IMAX experience I feel a need to see in the cinema. After having seen the trailer some months ago, I was almost surprised to see “A Cure For Wellness” was getting a showing in the big Cinema here in Kuopio, as I was under the assumption that it may be too experimental for their regular programming. For many films I have interest in viewing, I do my best to avoid reviews, spoilers and sometimes even the trailer. My self imposed rule also applies to bands I am planning to see of which I have never previously heard of. The element of surprise conjoined with a fresh mind clear of any bias always makes for a lasting impression – whether positive or negative. This last Thursday I met up with the owner of Skullbanger Magazine to accompany him in the 2 hour and 30 minute evening screening after having spent a long day in town amidst heavy snowfall. Austrian Post/Doom Metal band Anderwelt has released their new video clip for the song “Trinity of Decay”. The video was directed by James Quinn, starring Heike Christiane Kotsios & Ralph Saml.
The band was formed in 2013 in Linz, Austria by Markus Steinberger and Alexander Dornstauder. Their debut album “Schattenlichter” was released in 2015 and now the guys really busy touring Europe and working on their second album.
Chicago Open Air is set to kick off for the second time this July 14-16. COA this year will host KISS, KORN and OZZY as headliners over it’s three day weekend and the billing also includes other high profile acts such as, Anthrax, Megadeth and Slayer.
