Deplacement- “Carousel” album review

By Carla Morton

The debut album Carousel was released via Epictronic records by the Italian duo Dark Wave, Deplacement.

While listening to “Carousel”, it got me to the ’80-‘90’s music, as influences they goes to The Sisters Of Mercy, The Cure and Christian Death. Isn’t a bad album, I had patience listening to it in spite not all the time I have the patience to listen stuffs like these, I rarely find a band and listen their albums from the beginning till the end, but “Carousel” is interesting, dark, pleasing, I don’t know what else I should say about it, but I recommend and give a try to Deplacement and their new album, even lovers of The Cure and The Sisters Of Mercy would enjoy ‘’Carousel”.

Sadness And Solitude
Hypostasis Of Life
Emily’s Tears
Throwing Faces
Emotional Pain
Black Shape
